Lung Transplantation Surgeon
The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is seeking a general thoracic surgeon for lung transplantation at the level of Assistant Professor outside the tenure stream.
The ideal candidate will have a strong general thoracic surgery background with primary interest in lung transplantation. The candidate must have a commitment to medical student, cardiothoracic and general surgical resident and advanced fellow teaching and clinical training and is expected to have a significant role in the Cardiopulmonary Transplant Fellowship Program. The candidate must be board certified or board eligible and qualified for medical licensure in Pennsylvania. An established track record and interest in designing and pursuing innovative research studies is optimal.
