Does colorectal cancer cause symptoms?
Common symptoms of colorectal cancer include the following:
- Change in bowel habits
- Diarrhea, constipation, or feeling that the bowel does not empty completely
- Blood in the stool (either bright red or very dark in color)
- Stools that are narrower than usual
- General abdominal discomfort (frequent gas pains, bloating, fullness, and/or cramps)
- Weight loss with no known reason
- Constant tiredness
- Vomiting
These symptoms can be caused by cancer or by a number of other
conditions. It is important to check with a doctor.
