The University of Iowa, Division of Gastroenterology-Hepatology in the Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting gastroenterologists for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant or Associate Professor on either the clinical or the tenure track. Patient care will occur at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, affiliated outreach sites, and the affiliated Iowa City VA Medical Center.
The successful candidates must have an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD or equivalent degree, be authorized to work in the US, have board certification/board eligibility in gastroenterology, and have demonstrated outstanding abilities and skills in teaching and clinical medicine. Desirable qualifications include scholarly activity in the field of obesity research.
