These three new whole-time posts will complement the existing 15 Consultants - 11 luminal and four hepatologists.

Our department is recognised as a centre of clinical and research excellence with 11 national and international service and research awards in five years.

These posts are part of an exciting growth and development within Sheffield
Gastroenterology service. This major investment is part of a plan to meet rising demand on our service and build on existing specialist services.
